Gearbox Repair Centre (PTY) LTD is a family owned business, established initially close to 30 years ago by Calvin Francois who used his expertise, industry and product knowledge to build the company into the success it is today. His hands on approach, progressive leadership style and commitment to service quality ensures satisfied customers and a profitable business. In recent years, his daughter has joined the directorship allowing the business to stay relevant and evolve with the addition of younger generations. Calvin’s son manages the workshop and has allowed the workshop to expand its skill to incorporate retarders etc. As MD, Calvin Francois is responsible for after sales service & parts, deals directly with his overseas suppliers, keeping stock levels, distribution of manual transmissions, automotive, commercial & industrial vehicles. GRC is 100% black owned and most of our staff compliment is made up of disadvantaged groups. We have more than 40 dedicated staff members of which 10 are black females. GRC is a certified BEE rated company and we continuously strive to better our rating year on year. MISSION
