Spring mornings encourage early rising. After the cold darkness of winter, predawn rising to head to work, gym, run or cycle, the sound of birdlife greeting a warmer sun here in the Cape at around 05h30 currently is music to the ears of the ‘early to rise’ set.

Whilst not exactly at daybreak, the departure time of 09h30 is still early enough to catch the Atlantic in its morning garb – the breeze refreshing, the ocean life also enjoying the morning sun. At , we don’t just offer scheduled cruises – we charter boats! Given that we also offer multiple scheduled cruises 365 days a year, this fact can sometimes be overlooked. But those in the know make excellent use of our vessels to host a wide range of events.

As a venue, a luxurious catamaran matches anything a land-based venue can offer, but comes with so many more incredible features that chartering your choice of floating platform becomes the ideal solution.

But what about a really big event, you may ask. A company end-of-year party for 300 dancing guests, perhaps? No problem! There is no limit to the number of delightful catamarans you can charter at once, and we can easily accommodate big groups aboard a range of boats. Imagine a floating party with multiple dance floors, all gently circling each other on the Atlantic! It lends itself to innumerable party games, too… take along a RIB and we can facilitate transfers!

You’ve booked your cruise and the excitement is building… but what to wear? ☀️

Well, for starters, we have no minimum dress requirements (other than those dictated by society’s moral standards! 😉). Simply dress according to what you plan to do onboard.

🌊 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀: Summer attire is ideal! Feel free to wear or bring along a swimming costume, and for the adventurous, we also have SUP boards available.

🥂 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀: Dress to suit your style, but remember that once the sun sets, a cool breeze can set in. Bring something warm just in case!

👟 𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀: Flat shoes are definitely more suitable than high heels on a boat, for fairly obvious reasons. And with the Cape sun shining down, a hat is highly recommended. Sunscreen on exposed limbs is also an excellent idea!

🏴‍☠️ 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀: The host calls the shots! From black tie to full piratical costume and everything in between, anything goes. Just remember that you’ll be out on the Atlantic, so a King Kong fancy-dress outfit might not be ideal for a sunny afternoon! 😂
