The day started on the road and ended at Stoos Customs for the relaunch of Oil & Grind — and what a way to bring it back.

And a whole lot of great people, good vibes and epic memories. This is what it’s all about. The ride. The machines. The people. The moments that you’ll still be talking about long after the day.

To the Purveyors of Petrol powered Passion.
At Stoos Customs we value the result of combustion, drive trains, and wheels,…. and whether you’re pushing down the pedal, or twisting a throttle, the resultant feeling is something that drives us all.

This feeling, combined with the love for aesthetics, creates the common bond amongst the Motor Aficionados of our time,…….. or more commonly referred to as Petrol Heads.

Whatever you prefer to be called doesn’t bother us, either way, we’d love you to bring your wheels of choice, and join us on the 3rd of October at the re-launching of our coffee shop Oil & Grind.

The day will start with a scenic ride out to “Stretch our Legs”, and end at the coffee shop in Montague Gardens at around 12:00 am, where the day’s activities will kick off and include good food, live music, and cold beverages.

Let’s take a time out, and enjoy our common love of wheels with likeminded friends, and future friends.

Alex shares the story of one of his more memorable welding experiences — welding a gas tank where, even after taking the necessary precautions, one spark turned into a full-on jet flame!

Built to honour those who fell in the Angola War, The Exile took home the win at the 2017 Poppy Day Bike Build Off, earning the title of Best Custom Bike as voted for by the crowd. Based on a Harley-Davidson Sportster, this seriously bad-ass build packs a 1250 big bore kit, SE 536 cams, ported heads, upside-down forks, linkage rear mono-shock, and serious stopping power. Crafted by Alex Stoos, The Exile is a powerful tribute with the performance and attitude to match.
