RIP Robbie Wolk. Sad sad sad news.

REST IN PEACE, ROBERT WOLK

Motorsport South Africa is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Robert Wolk.

A multiple South African champion and a familiar name in our national racing scene, Robert leaves behind a remarkable motorsport legacy spanning almost three decades.

He continued racing at the highest level in 2026, adding another Simola Hillclimb King of the Hill title to his achievements and returning to the South African Touring Cars podium.

Our thoughts are with Robert’s family, friends, teams and the many people across South African motorsport who knew him.

Rest in peace, Robert.

CAPE TOWN, IT’S SAES RACE WEEKEND 🏁

The Southern African Endurance Series takes over Killarney International Raceway for a full day of motorsport, headlined by six hours of multi-class endurance racing from daylight into dusk.

Fans can also look forward to sprint races, motorcycle racing, the grid walk, fan zone activations, live entertainment, food stalls and a kids’ area.

THE FASTEST🏁
The grid is officially locked in for tomorrow’s highly anticipated Sports & GT Round 4 showdown.

Tate Bishop behind the wheel of his Audi R8 LMS GT4, tore through the field to secure a hard-earned pole position. He will head into tomorrow’s race with clear air ahead, but the competition is breathing down his neck.

Sharing the front row is Wayne Hoffman, who maximized the pace of his Porsche 992.1 to claim a stellar 2nd on the grid. Right behind them, Roberto Franco parked his Audi R8 firmly in 3rd, leaving him perfectly poised to strike when the lights go out.

With two Audis flanking a lone Porsche in the top three, tomorrow’s race promises pure tactical drama from the first corner.

The Top 3 Qualifying Order:

Tate Bishop (Audi R8 LMS GT4) – Pole Position

Wayne Hoffman (Porsche 992.1)
