Would you back karting as a school sport?

We would. A kart teaches focus that follows kids into the classroom - reading the racing line, staying calm under pressure, making a split-second call. Then comes the discipline: prepping your gear, taking feedback after every run, and getting back out after a mistake. Skill before speed, and confidence that grows over time.

So parents, what's the verdict? Vote below - Yes, No or Maybe - then tell us why in the comments. We read every one.

Nobody told her karts were for boys. She never checked.

At Rev & Race Karting Academy, the grid is open to anyone who wants a seat. Structured sessions, real coaching, and a first taste of speed behind the wheel at Killarney Race Track.

Bring your daughter. She's already got the pace.

Corners decide your lap at Killarney - and they are not only about speed.

1. Braking point: pick it early, before the corner surprises you.
2. Turn-in: one smooth motion, hands steady, eyes already looking at the exit.
3. Exit: back on the power only once the kart is straight.

Learn the line before you drive it. That is what our academy sessions are built around - structured, guided laps where skill comes before speed.

Save this for your first time on track.
