Founded in 2001 by Anton and Charmaine du Toit, Du Toit Yacht Design (DTYD) is one of South Africa’s leading naval architecture and yacht design studios. Based in the heart of Cape Town’s boatbuilding hub, the studio has completed more than 120 projects, including over 30 custom and production catamarans. From its early beginnings, DTYD has grown into an internationally recognised studio, working closely with established boatyards, marine manufacturers, yacht designers and private clients around the world. Its multidisciplinary team provides complete design and engineering solutions for sailing yachts, power catamarans and commercial vessels. With experience across custom, semi-custom and production projects, DTYD combines refined aesthetics, technical expertise and practical functionality to create vessels shaped around each client’s vision, requirements and life on the water.
