Rex Diff and Gearbox Pretoria MOVES TO THE NORTHERN REGION OF THE CITY (MotorHUB Montana)
Renowned gearbox repairer Rex Diff and Gearbox Pretoria is moving into the heart of the City’s auto Hub on October 1st.
The new RDG PTA workshop is located at Shop 8, Montana Boulevard Lifestyle Centre, 1032 Silvergrass Street, Magalieskruin, in the vibrant Montana precinct of Pretoria.
RDG Pretoria is a versatile partner in the Rex Diff and Gearbox network of RDG workshops nationwide. Since its founding in 2018, it has built a solid reputation for service and reliability amongst motor dealerships, the general public and fleet operators in the city. The DNA of the RDG group, founded in 1992 is well evident in this business units operations.
Managing Partner Riaan Van Wyk says the new workshop will continue to provide repairs and maintenance for most vehicles available in South Africa.
“This includes manual gearboxes and automatic transmissions for most local passenger cars, Light Delivery Vehicles, bakkies, SUVs, light Commercial vehicles and Microbuses. RDG PTA also repairs transfer cases and diffs for 4x4s, and loose drivetrain components for 4 to 8 ton trucks.”
Remanufactured propshafts and CV-Joints are also offered by the RDG PTA team.
The RDG Pretoria workshop specialises in repairing transmissions of Ford Ranger bakkies and has enjoyed considerable success with these vehicles.
“We are also proficient in handling dry clutch Ford Powershift transmissions and dry clutch Volkswagen DSG gearboxes,” adds Van Wyk.
Van Wyk says RDG Pretoria is now a preferred repair supplier for all the Toyota dealerships in Pretoria, and also has excellent relationships with many of the aftermarket insurance warranty providers serving the motor industry.
The new workshop is also to be accredited by the RMI’s Motor Industry Workshop Association (MIWA), Automobile Association of SA (AA), as well as the SABS ISO 9001 and SANS 10279 standards.
