Tomorrow, the Free State gets a front-row seat to the future! 🔧🚗
The first-ever Motor Mech Show in the Free State takes place tomorrow at Martie du Plessis High School in Bloemfontein, in collaboration with the OFS Veteran Car Club and Cars in the Park.
It is a special moment for Motor Mech, and an exciting opportunity for local learners, parents, educators, workshops, suppliers, motoring enthusiasts and the broader community.
At the centre of the day is MIWA’s Junior Motor Mech Competition, where selected Grade 11 and 12 learners from Dr Böhmer School of Skills, Louis Botha Technical High School, Hoërskool TRIO High School and Heatherdale Comprehensive Secondary School will put their technical knowledge and practical skills to the test.
The competition will run across knock-out rounds, with learners being tested on both theoretical and practical elements before the final two compete in the ultimate challenge.
But the day is about more than competition.
It is about exposure.
It is about career pathways.
It is about showing young people that practical skills are valuable, needed and full of possibility.
