A little about the owner: I attended 2 years at Tulsa Technology Center for Collision Repair and Auto Refinishing. There, I was taught the ins and outs of body work, dent pulling, welding, disassembly of vehicles, as well as some electrical and mechanical aspects of vehicles. I was interested in the “finishing” side of refinishing, and found myself to learn quickly in this industry. My detailing career started at Onsite Solutions, where I learned how to detail cars in a fast-paced environment. After working there for 2 years and transferring to many different dealerships, the next step was to start my own mobile detailing business. In Tulsa, I had great success, but really wanted to attend UCO to learn more about how to network and grow your business. Moving to OKC, I knew nobody. The best foot in the door for someone in my position was to search for a mentor. Over the last 6 years, I have been very fortunate to have two of the best mentors in the industry teach me their ways. After years of learning and perfecting my mental and physical capabilities, I felt the time was right to finally make a name for myself. Thats how OCDetailz was born. I have worked in many different detail environments over the years; anything from fast-paced dealerships, to slow-paced niche detailing. By getting experience from all of these different viewpoints, I am able to create a better functioning business model. One of my main goals as a business is to reduce environmental impact that the detailing industry is negatively known for. Many shops I have worked at failed to provide appropriate drainage, leaving caustic chemicals to run into our storm drains and hurt our wildlife. Recycling is another main focal point of reducing my business’s carbon footprint. With as much as 80% of the materials and products used being recycled, we can rest assured knowing OCDetailz is doing everything in their power to make sure they are an eco-friendly company.
