Today we had a visit from the new owner of a vehicle that we looked after since new.
He has just brought it from auction as a massive gamble for just £150 as it has over 400,000 miles on it. !! Yes you read that correctly.

The blog of his purchase and his other videos are all well worth a watch.

Follow the link below, give it a watch and give him a follow.
Many interesting videos on there and think it’s safe to safe we cared for it well to get it to almost 1/2 million miles. :)

This might just be the ultimate high mileage hero Ford. Most people would’ve sent this Old Mondeo straight to the scrapyard, but I wanted to find out can a £...

Thanks for all who - laughed, liked and commented on this mornings post.
Of course the date is 1st April so had to join in the fun.
“Clacys” is here to stay and the village garage is probably in a small village in the middle of nowhere going about their business on this lovely sunny morning.
All jokes aside in the coming months we are looking to refresh the paint work and signage 🙂 watch this space 🙂

Good morning to you all.
The Centre of Whitchurch is looking smarter by the week with all the freshly decorated buildings and new signage and we shall soon be doing some much overdue refreshing of own.
As you know Ian retired over 5 years ago now and we have decided to go for a name change as we are having new signage.
Watch this space for “The Village Garage”
Hope you all like it 🙂

So as we come to the end of January I would like to thank all our customers for your patience and continued support, just this week has been a bit of a head scratcher at times, twisted and broken springs, many many tyres, random brake rubbing noise for once not caused by worn out brakes but rust build up, mysterious bolts causing knocking noises because they decided to rehome them selves there after hitting a pot hole, spark plug holes filled to the brim with coolant due failed core plugs and many broken wires causing lots of issues, but only when the engine warms up 🤦🏻‍♂️
Not the usual day to day jobs but we love a challenge. !!
Couldn’t get thought it all without the help of Marcus and the rest of the team 💙
