I hate the shading on my tattoo…

So I just got this done today. The tattooists work is amazing which is why I’m so devastated that the area on his body is so rubbish. I don’t understand why she’s gone so dark with the shading on his body because it makes it look like part of his leg so makes them look weird and bendy. It’s also wonky as hell and leaning over to one side, I’m gutted it’s a memorial tattoo for my boy who passed and I’ve been planning it for months. I thought I couldn’t have planned it better/picked a tattoo artist that was more suited and now… I want to cry. I hate the area I’ve circled would I be able to get just this bit lasered off and get someone to re tattoo the body to A: make the shading and legs not so funky and B: make it not look like he’s drunk and leaning off to the side, maybe by adding more bulk on the body to the side it’s leaning towards? I’m just devastated, I don’t understand what happened… I know they get you to check in the mirror and it’s my fault for not noticing how wonky it was, she put the stencil on my leg while I was laid down and it obvs looks straight then but when my skin pulls when I stand up the entire thing moves. I quickly checked in the mirror but just don’t notice.

Get shading done or leave as-is?

This tattoo isn't officially finished, as it still needs shading. But I've kinda grown to like it as it is. Lately, I'm finding myself really attracted to black ornamental with little shading, but I'm not sure if this is bold enough or just looks unfinished.
Won't lie, part of me also dreads getting more work on this piece as it's the only tattoo out of almost 40 that I tapped out on as I went into literal shock during it.

Artist added shading that was not in the original design, how to approach

I got this tattoo yesterday, the first photo is the tattoo and the second is the original design. I thought the shading was alright at first but after going home and looking at it I’m realizing it changes the lines to blend in with the skull, and I’m not happy with it.
I reached out to the artist and they said that “I think it looks good don’t worry about it”,
Is it feasible to touch up with white ink? Should I get a background done to match the inner shading?

Turns out I hate shading! Can I fix this… do anything to just feel better about it?

I got this piece about 36 hours ago, so I do understand that it will lighten and look different as it heals. But I gave the artist the design in the first photo and she added a lot of shading and gave the tattoo a totally different look than I was going for. This is my third tat, first (and last!) with this artist. Hard to tell from the pics but it’s about six inches long.

I did speak up quite a bit during the appointment about the design because she originally drew something completely different. But I’m kicking myself for not saying that I wanted a linework tattoo, NO shading at all. I was imagining crisp, bold, graphic. I hate that I didn’t make myself clear but also she did not ask if I wanted shading or mention that she would be doing the shading. The stencil looked perfect but now (with the shading!) I’m going back and forth between hating the tattoo and feeling sort of okay about it but not loving it. When it was being done I was lying on my side facing away from her so I didn’t see it happening.

It’s not really possible to lighten the shading after the fact is it? I’m already considering lasering the whole thing and then having just the outlines redone but that’s lots of time and money I won’t have for a while. I’m pretty raw and emotional over this… please tell me it’s not too bad!!
