OK, this is interesting but for a wholly different story. This is about the guy who just got arrested for shooting out red light cameras. It made us think of a 2017 story in which Mats Jarlstrom researched and documented the timings of yellow lights in Beaverton. The fine folks in the Beav couldn't help with the lights, but helpfully issued Mats a $500 fine for practicing engineering without a license. We wrote a cranky article about it at the time and heard nothing more. Today's story about the camera shooter made us look for updates and we found some... Mats took the Beav to court, and broadly won on everything he sued for. Both our 2017 story and the update (from 2018) are in the Comments below.
