New video went live a few days ago, in typical fashion I’m late at posting again 😂

This should (and already has) unlock the next stage in the workshop capabilities, just wait til you see the next few videos, I can’t wait to share them all with you 😎👌

Link is in the comments, as Facebook is even trying to monetize sharing links in posts now, 2 max per month apparently 🤔

Well, that’s not ideal… 🤦‍♂️

The PD130 diesel Capri has decided it doesn’t want to play anymore!

Timing belt failure, at the side of the road. Allegedly at full boost in the outside lane 👀. Not exactly how I planned to spend my evening. 😂

No idea how much damage it’s done yet, but I’ve a feeling this could turn into a much bigger job than just replacing a belt.

Might be time to revisit a few things on this conversion while I’m at it…

Months of work, finally back together. 🔧
This Cortina’s had the front end stripped, parts blasted and powder coated, bushes and bearings replaced, and the engine freshened up in Desert Island Blue. (My old Xpack colour)
Even ended up making a spring-compressor tool along the way—because apparently the car itself wasn’t enough work 😂
The full workshop journey is now on YouTube, right through to getting it back on the road.

What’s the job on your project that turned into far more work than you expected?

GUESS THE HORSEPOWER! 👀

The mighty 1.2 16V Twingo has been strapped to the dyno 😂

It supposedly left the factory with a whopping 75hp… but after 24 years and plenty of miles, how many of those French horses are actually still alive? 🇫🇷🐎 (There’s a joke there somewhere about me and horses)

What do you reckon it made?

Drop your guess in the comments 👇
Closest one gets absolutely nothing except bragging rights 😂

The answer will be in the an upcoming Twingo video 👀

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve been this excited for workshop equipment 👀😍!

My new bp.tables Model L 2400 × 1200 fixture table is currently being built, and I genuinely can’t wait to get it into the garage.

As you’ll probably have seen, I’ve decided to take a step back and put a lot more of my time and energy into the YouTube channel — and this is going to completely change what I’m capable of fabricating at home.

Accurate setups, repeatable positioning, proper fixturing, and the ability to tackle much bigger fabrication projects without spending half the job trying to get everything square!

And judging by these build photos, it’s an absolute unit 😂!

I’ve already got a growing list of projects lined up for it — including a proper hydraulic tube bender, 20T finger brake, bandsaw stand and plenty more.

A lot of those designs have been developed with ChatGPT too, so it’ll be really interesting to see how well they actually work when we go from CAD to steel 👀

Huge thanks to Blackdown Precision Tables for working with me on this. I genuinely think this table is going to open up a whole new side of Kris Duprey’s Garage.

Can’t wait to get it collected and start building! 🔧🔥

Five old cars, 1,000 miles and some questionable decisions involving a roof tent on a shoebox sized car… what could possibly go wrong? 😂

The Twingo finally escaped the garage for a road trip around Wales with the lads. Roof tents, incredible roads, soaking wet campsites and a few mechanical issues that we’re apparently not calling breakdowns…

The little Renault did me proud, although losing the power steering and struggling up the hills definitely got me thinking about that engine swap 👀

🎬 The full Wales road trip is now live on YouTube!

Which would you take—the Twingo, one of the Capris, the Golf or the P100?

No video this weekend, it’s taking a bit longer than anticipated, I’m having to learn how to drive the new 360 degree software and also I’ve taken up smoking, the good kind of smoking that is 😂👌

The Wales trip video should be out next weekend all being well, and I’ve got lots prepared in the background all coming up in the next few months.

Engine swaps, turbocharging at least 2 vehicles that have absolutely no need for turbos, massive workshop improvements and additions, and I’m getting the chance to work with some very exciting companies which I never thought possible in a million years.

Looking forward to focusing more time on the channel and here again 😎

In the meantime, visit the channel and watch last weeks video where I got the Twingo ready for 1000 miles through wales with a small apartment block bolted to the roof! Link will be in the comments 🙂
