McLAREN 750S – TRIMMING THE BESPOKE AMPLIFIER COVER PANEL

The next stage of our McLaren 750S build is all about finishing the bespoke amplifier cover panel to the same standard as the rest of the interior.

With the fabrication work complete, the panel is now being carefully trimmed in material selected to complement the McLaren’s cabin, giving the finished piece a much more integrated, factory-style appearance.

This stage takes patience and precision. The material has to be positioned, bonded and worked carefully around every edge, contour and cut-out so the finished panel looks clean from every angle.

The result is a bespoke cover panel that not only hides and protects the amplifier installation underneath, but also becomes a proper feature of the build rather than simply something functional.

It’s the small details in the finishing work that make a big difference on a project like this. 👌🔥

McLAREN 750S – BESPOKE AMPLIFIER COVER PANEL IN THE MAKING 🛠️

The next stage of our McLaren 750S build moves back into fabrication, this time creating a completely bespoke amplifier cover panel.

Rather than settling for a simple flat panel, we’ve designed this piece from scratch to follow the shape and style of the car, while giving the amplifier installation a properly finished, high-end appearance.

The panel is being built up in multiple sections, bonded together, shaped and refined by hand before it moves on to the finishing stages. The cut-outs and contours have all been planned to create a clean, purposeful design that will complement the rest of the install once everything is back in the car.

This is the kind of work that often sits behind the finished result — hours of measuring, templating, bonding and shaping to make sure every detail looks like it belongs there from factory.

More to come as this panel takes its final form. 👀🔥

McLAREN 750S – INSTALLING THE AUDISON THESIS TWEETERS

Continuing with our McLaren 750S audio build, the next stage is the installation of the Audison Thesis tweeters into the custom tweeter pods we designed specifically for this car.

After being 3D scanned, 3D printed, and carefully trimmed to match the factory interior, these bespoke housings allow the tweeters to sit perfectly in position while maintaining a finish that looks right at home in the cabin.

This stage is all about getting the finer details right. Tweeter placement plays a huge part in the overall listening experience, helping deliver the clarity, detail and high-frequency precision that a system of this calibre deserves.

By combining the Audison Thesis tweeters with the custom pods, we’re able to achieve a result that looks subtle and OEM-inspired, while offering the performance you’d expect from a high-end bespoke audio installation.

The next stage of this McLaren 750S build focuses on the creation of custom tweeter pods to house the Audison Thesis tweeters.

McLAREN 750S – AUDISON THESIS MIDRANGE REAR SPEAKER INSTALL

The next stage of this McLaren 750S build focuses on the rear speaker upgrade, with the installation of an Audison Thesis midrange.

For a project at this level, every speaker choice matters. The Audison Thesis midrange has been selected to deliver exceptional clarity and detail, helping to create a more refined and immersive listening experience throughout the cabin.

As shown here, the new driver is being carefully integrated into the rear speaker location, allowing us to retain a neat, factory-style finish while dramatically improving performance over the standard setup.
