Jan Van Dyk and the crew of TRIAL, NO ERROR!!! just took first place at La Cinquecento 2026 - sailing a Corsair 31 AC built in 1999.

La Cinquecento is a 500nm offshore race across the Adriatic Sea, the oldest double-handed race in the Mediterranean, now in its 52nd edition. To lead the entire fleet home is a result that speaks for itself.

Not the newest boat on the water. Not the flashiest entry. Just exceptional seamanship, a smart crew, and a hull that still had something to prove.

Corsair 760 Stretches Out to Take Overall Honours at Sydney Multihull Regatta

The Sydney Multihull Regatta, hosted by Multihull Central, brought together a fleet of 15 multihulls for a lively weekend of racing on Sydney Harbour.

With fresh breeze and competitive sailing across the fleet, crews were pushed to sail well and stay sharp throughout the regatta, making for exciting racing and tight competition on the water.

Standing out among the fleet, the Corsair 760 stretched away to take overall honours, showcasing the speed, agility and responsive handling that Corsair trimarans are known for. Light, fast and built for sailors who enjoy performance sailing, the Corsair 760 once again proved its capability in real racing conditions.

Time to get ready for the 2026 Corsair Nationals Championship.

The famous 2026 Corsair National Championship returns this Summer to the iconic San Francisco Bay, and the registration is now open to all sailors ready for the challenge.

From July 17 to 19, 2026, the Corsair fleet will converge to the demanding waters of the bay, a venue known for heavy breeze and complex currents that reward skill, preparation, and decisive helming.

Trailerable Trimaran - The DNA of Corsair

The core of Corsair Marine’s technical superiority across its entire range, from the compact 760 to the largest size 970, is the patented folding system. This high-tensile pivot mechanism allows the amas to retract vertically, reducing the sailing beam of up to 22' 7" (6.88 m) down to a legal towing width of 2.55 m (8' 4") in minutes.

By utilizing vacuum-infused composites and high-volume hull geometry, every Corsair model eliminates the need for heavy lead ballast. This results in an exceptional power-to-weight ratio and a high righting moment provided by the amas rather than weight. The system is engineered so that the structural integrity and rigging process remain manageable on all the larger 970; a rotating mast and gin-pole system allow a small crew to step the mast and launch without specialized marina equipment.
