Government Approved Mooring Sites

Persons quarantining on an approved vessel must anchor or dock at the approved mooring sites throughout the duration of the mandatory four-day quarantine.

Vessels are allowed restricted movement in the Territorial waters amongst the areas approved for quarantine mooring sites.

Landing on any site is restricted until guests have received an Arrival Day/Day 0 negative PCR test result.

Vessels can also visit a list of marine approved sites in the Territory, however vessels are to be anchored or docked by 6:00 p.m. daily at an approved mooring site until 5:00 a.m. the next day.

Covid update

Travel protocols (to be gazetted) have now been confirmed for visitors to the BVI and we look forward to welcoming you aboard!

* Visitors will need to download the approved app at bvigateway.bviaa.com and must be issued a Travel Certificate;

* A PCR COVID-19 negative test will be required within five days prior to arrival for all travellers from low risk countries; and within three days prior to arrival for all travellers from medium and high risk countries.

* A test on arrival and a monitoring bracelet enables you to board your charter yacht and set sail for a 4 day quarantine period at approved safe haven mooring and anchorage sites.

*Sail between approved mooring/anchorage sites during the 4 days of quarantine to explore some of our beauty spots

* A negative test after the 4 days of quarantine enables you to sail and explore the islands freely.

*The traveller app, monitoring bracelet and the required two tests (entry and four-day) cost a total of $175 per person.

* We are offering the first 4 days of Quarantine on the yacht of your choice FREE in the BVI while the Q protocols apply!

The offer - which is applicable to all new bookings of 14 days or longer - saves you thousands of dollars. Yachts are required to be pre-provisioned for you and Wi-Fi units on board can be arranged so you can work remotely too. Email [email protected] for more details!
