Yesterday I told you that I would let you know why I've been giving the full "play by play" just about every day this week and even though I'm tired, ready to hit the pillow.....I told you I would so here we go.
Even though we announced that our move to the new shop would be coming, the fact that we didnt have a finished building to move into I guess, delayed the sense of urgency...
Now that its official, its already underway and dates are set, some people are BIG MAD that we cant "just squeeze them in before you move..."
Look, I totally understand, especially for the people that literally live "around the corner". Its not as convenient of a trip. And ultimately, if you decide not to choose us because of our location, we totally understand, no hard feelings.
Now I gave everyone the play by play so everyone KNOWS I just simply DO NOT have time to squeeze anything in. Kayla Lane is an absolute BOSS at scheduling everyone.... She jam packs literally every day. Most of you would probably throw your phone out the window if you had to deal with all the calls, texts, and Facebook messages that she does on a daily basis on top of trying to have a life outside of the business.
So when she tells you were booking for the middle of July, its not because we don't want your business....We just don't have enough hours in the day.
I don't stop for lunch, I don't call it a day at 3pm and hop on the Xbox.... If I'm done before 6 or 7pm its usually because of a last minute schedule change that day.
Then of course, all the "behind the scenes" stuff that running a business requires still has to get done, as well as preparing to move.
Its kind of ironic though, in the beginning I lost quite a bit of business because I worked from my home garage... Once in a while, we still lose jobs for that reason. Some people frown upon that sort of thing. People said I should get a shop.
Now I finally get a shop and people are telling me to keep working from home. 🤣
Many of you have been super supportive and for that I am grateful beyond words!
But some people think I'm gonna work even longer hours if they threaten to go elsewhere and thats just not going to happen...
In closing, we can't make everyone happy, and we know that..... A microwaved meal never tastes as good as grandma's made from scratch spread.

A mobile job
Or on the dang moon 🌙
