These are the announcements for June.

Saturday June 13th is our regular Cars & Coffee Cruise In. At 10:30 am we will ride over to the Lodge Nursing Home for a Pre-Fathers Day for the residents.

Sunday June 14th is Flag Day Celebration in downtown Baton Rouge. We have been asked to participate in the parade to celebrate America's 250th birthday. We are to meet downtown at 3:00 pm. Parade rolls at 4:00 pm. Immediately following the parade we will have designated parking area next to the Galvez Plaza to display our cars and trucks. Please comment if you would like to attend so that we can get a count.

I just spoke to Gerry Lane Chevrolet and the Carshow is still happening tomorrow.

I do not enjoy making a post like this one. But due to the weather we will not have our cruisin this Saturday. It shows 70 - 80% chance of rain. 🌧️ it’s just best not to plan with that forecast.

Hopefully it will all come together in June.

Hey, just a reminder that the Gerry Lane Anniversary Party is May 9th at their Florida Blvd location.

Saturday May 9, 2026
Cajun Classic Chevy Club open car show
8:00-12:00 with awards at 1:00pm.
$20 entry fee.
Free food and drink, bouncy houses & kid's activities.

The Car show is Scheduled for August 5th 9-1 Antioch Community Center, same location Last year.
