We are thrilled to announce that Del Pueblo's "Yuma Children's Burn Survivor Charity initiative" has achieved unprecedented results this year!
The membership collectively raised a total of $18,000, surpassing the initial goal of $10,000. Additionally, a generous member pledged an extra $10,000 upon reaching the goal, bringing the combined total donation to over $28,000. This amount represents the largest contribution in Del Pueblo's history (double the amount of our best year) and the most significant donation ever received by the Yuma Burn Survivors organization.
In the accompanying photo, Mr. and Mrs. DeBoer, our private donors of $10K, are pictured with Winston, a young burn survivor who endured a severe injury years ago. Winston stole the show with his positive attitude, love for baseball, and his infectious smile. This achievement highlights the incredible generosity and dedication of the Del Pueblo community and staff, who deserve commendation and recognition for their outstanding efforts.
