Dylan finished up resealing the front differential on this rock crawler Jeep today. Inner and outer tube seals, axle seals and new hub assemblies. Nope those aren’t stock Jeep axles, this “Heinz 57” has Ford Super Duty axles, custom suspension and an aftermarket transfer case.

Another Chevrolet Camshaft and Lifter replacement. Between the poor design, the extended oil change intervals and the "normal" oil consumption that will make them run out of oil between oil changes if not checked regularly, it's no wonder we see so many of these. The oil life monitor works great for the manufacturers when they give you free oil changes for the first 3 years but if you want to keep a car for the long haul, we recommend 5,000 miles with synthetic oil and 3,000 with conventional.

We get calls almost everyday about wheel alignments. First thing we ask is if the car has been lowered. This is why, on today's cars ride height makes the biggest difference in camber measurements and most cars do not have factory camber adjustments and to make it right requires expensive adjustable parts. To make this Charger right would cost close to $1800.00 plus the alignment. Definitely what most people don't want to hear so all we could do is get the Toe adjusted to spec but this car will still have premature inner tire wear.

Come on out to Gateway Park tomorrow for the City of El Mirage, Arizona Public Safety Day

All cleaned up and ready to head out to the City of El Mirage, Arizona Public Safety Day tomorrow morning from 10-2. Lots of cool stuff to see and there's a bicycle raffle for the kids sponsored by Roberts Car Care. Maybe we can get some new fans out to Firebird to help celebrate NHRA .
