Drop hitch or rise hitch — do you actually know which one you need? 🤔

It comes down to where your receiver sits versus your trailer's coupler. Truck sitshigher than the trailer? You need a drop. Sits lower? You need a rise. Get it wrong and your trailer tows nose-up or nose-down — which hurts braking, sway control, and tire wear. Our adjustable hitches do both in one unit, so you dial in a level tow every time. Two add-ons we recommend with The Major: the Hitch Tightener ($24.90) to lock down play and stop the rattle, and the RV Extension Bar ($129) when you need extra clearance. Both come in 2" and 2.5" — match them to your hitch.

Worth noting — The Major already ships with (3) straight pins with clips, (2) anti-rattle bolts, plus a wrench and Allen key. Hitch locks are sold separately.

Three things The Major does that your current hitch probably can't. 🔄

① Anti-flip design — change height by moving the cartridge, not flipping the hitch. That protects your tailgate and prevents hitch dragging.
② Rotates 90° to become a hitch step, or for offset towing.
③ Ride & Hide — put the ball mount in the reverse-side position and it stores out of the way. Small things, every trip.

Tow the trailer. Haul the bikes. At the same time. ⚙️🇺🇸

The Major is here. Stacked 2" receivers let you mount a ball mount, tow bar, bike rack or cargo carrier at different heights — tow from the lower slot and run a rack up top.

Move the receivers for up to 10" of drop or rise, or pull the cartridge off and remount it anywhere on the shank. No flipping the hitch, no scraped tailgate.

Rotate it 90° and it becomes a step for bed access.

30,000 lbs GTW on a solid steel shank. Anti-rattle bolts that help deter theft, straight pins, Q-clips, and a wrench and Allen key in the box. Meets SAE J684. Designed and assembled by a US military veteran.
