Today we got some paint and clear on the 67. Next will be the inside of the new hood, then the car gets assembled for paint cause this baby is gonna have stripes.

Mater has a grill!! Had a small break yesterday in between cars and my buddy Jeff, who is doing the wiring on him, needed the grill in place to wire up the turn signals.

Well it may be time to part ways with my beloved 71 Challenger. It was a car I’ve wanted as a kid and unfortunately I no longer have the time to put the drivetrain back in it. It has been sitting like this for 2 years and now all the moving boxes have boxed it in. It’s a tough decision, and life is full of tough decisions.

Moving fast on the 67 stang. Still doing a lot of prep work to the shell but got some parts in primer and sanded, primed, and painted the new rearend. Going to be hanging the doors and lining them up today.

Got to work on the mustang right away. Got the rear seat/trunk floor welded in, sealed, and painted. Seam sealed the rest of the trunk floor, front end, and primed all the bare metal areas. Next will be dropping the rearend to do some finish welding on the underneath. Stay tuned.

So I know I said I was closing my shop now, but then something happened. A friend of my family bought this car and a parts car for him and his son to build. A few months after the purchase, the father died in a freak accident. Now the family didn’t know what to do with the 2 cars. I was contacted to see if I could build this entire car for them. It is going to be long days and late nights, cause my goal is to have it built for them for Christmas. One thing to know about Paul-Ez Garage, when mission impossible shows up at my door, we will persevere. My wife says I’m built like a machine, well the machine just went into high gear and won’t stop til this car is done. This will officially be my last car in the yorkville shop, so stay tuned and watch the progress, cause it’s going to be moving fast and very diligent.

Tore off the drivers fender , treated surface rust and replaced the torque boxes. Now to spend a few days doing it to the passenger side.

Looks like I just sold one of my projects. That’s one way to get them done, sell them off. Take a guess which one I sold.

Just remember, when buying an old jeep, if it has a good frame, you’ll still have to spend a couple grand on body panels.
