Just got some GREAT news for Harley-Davidson riders in the Yakima area. Speed Motor Sports can now connect your bike to their computer and program key fobs, reset trouble codes, reset the brake bleed icon, and address other Harley-Davidson issues. No more traveling to get things done!!!!

This is a blessing for those who ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the area. They recently programmed key fobs for us quickly and without issues.

I vote for some kind of therapy.

Harley owners the question is how many have you visited?

Harley-Davidson is nothing if not American, and few things are more American than a giant showroom. Here are the largest Harley-Davidson dealerships.

Had a great class of students this weekend and a great bunch of instructor candidates teaching them for their final Instructor Prep weekend!! No crash reports and a 100% passing rate for the students who really rocked this weekend. Most of the students had never ridden before the course, and a few had limited experience riding, but these riders excelled in class.

There are bikes for all sizes.

There are bikes for all sizes.

There’s no perfect rider height.

Sure, having a longer inseam can make more motorcycles feel accessible right away. Being able to flat foot, or even tip-toe, can absolutely help build initial confidence.

But plenty of motorcycles work well for shorter riders too. Not every bike has a tall seat height - many motorcycles are naturally lower to the ground, and some have seat settings that can be adjusted or lowered further to better fit the rider.

And here’s the important part: as your confidence and skills grow, your options often grow too. Bikes that once felt intimidating may gradually feel completely manageable as you learn body positioning at a stop.

MSF RiderCoaches can help you build confidence and technique, and find the right fit for your experience level. Reach out to your local training range and ask what options they have available for you.

Very good information!

Very good information!

A motorcycle’s front brake provides roughly 70–90% of your stopping power, depending on the bike and conditions.

Because of that, there are a lot of interesting myths around it:

🏍️ “Using the front brake will make you crash.”
🏍️ “Never touch the front brake on gravel or dirt.”
🏍️ “It’s too dangerous in an emergency stop.”

But the reality is the front brake is one of the most important tools you have as a rider.

Like Spiderman's Uncle Ben said: with great power comes great responsibility.

Good braking isn’t about grabbing a handful of front brake in a panic and hoping for the best. It’s about practicing smooth, progressive braking and learning how your front and rear brakes work together.

Come learn and practice these skills at an MSF training site.
