I don’t feel tardy?

This is the 2nd one I have done in a row that the tensioner bolt has been over tightened and strips the threads out of the aluminium housing. Lovely. The first go around with this issue I about had a panic attack, I was expecting the threads to come out this time 😆
My blood pressure didn’t even spike just went and grabbed my repair kit. It’s little stuff like this you just have to give a s**t about, because left alone it won’t be little stuff long!

The owner of this Colorado is a bit picky(he hates cars and walking) when it comes to vehicles. He has a beach trip (x2) coming up back to back and wants it right to have a hassle free trip to the coast and back. New tires, all driveline fluids- front diff , oil and filter , transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, rear diff, as well as an ac service and dayco belt kit with tensioner, idler, and belt. Threw some spark plugs in and cleaned the MAF , fuel injectors, air filter and throttle plate as well.
Topped all fluids, added heat tape to heater core lines, you won’t find a better taken care of GM pickup from 05

2005 Colorado , with 75k miles, is that over kill? 😎
