Well, being sick since Monday has definitely slowed things down around here, but I'm finally starting to feel better and getting back in the shop!

I appreciate everyone's patience while I've been under the weather. I'm ready to get back to turning wrenches and taking care of your needs!

Some before and after pictures of the 1992 Sportster CV carburetor Rebuild.

Took alot of time in the washer and some scrubbing to get this bad boy looking fresh.

All new gaskets and diaphragm and all.

Not much more to get done to get ths Sporty to get it back on the road. Finish the tank and a fresh oil changes. And we should be ready for the first crank in 12 years.

🔧 1992 Harley-Davidson Sportster — Bringing It Back to Life!

After sitting for 12 years, it’s time for a full fuel-system cleanup and some much-needed attention.

Today’s work includes:
• Removing the fuel tank
• Cleaning the rust and buildup from inside the tank
• Removing and beginning the carburetor cleaning
• Inspecting the fuel system for issues caused by long-term storage
• Getting everything cleaned up and ready for the next stage of the revival

🏍️🔧 1992 Harley-Davidson Sportster — Time to Bring Her Back to Life!

This 1992 Sportster just came into the shop after sitting for 12 years! That means it’s time for a total overhaul to get this old Harley back on the road.

First up is getting the carburetor cleaned and gone through, along with checking the fuel system, fluids, ignition, battery, brakes, and everything else that needs attention after sitting this long.

It’s going to take some work, but bringing an old bike back to life is what I love doing! 💪

Stay tuned as we tear into this Sportster and see what 12 years of sitting has done.
