West Michigan Transmissions is hiring! We have expanded our services and are on the hunt for technicians that have experience in the automotive repair field at any level. Applicants must have their own tools, be certified in at least one category or have a trainee permit to work on automobiles and light duty trucks in the state of Michigan. You will be compensated with a fair hourly rate and weekly performance based bonuses. Technician's hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. We got to make this sweet 71 with 4.11 gears cruise down the highway at 70 MPH while turning 2600 RPM with a fresh 700R4 conversion. It pulls hard with a 2500 RPM stall torque converter and drives as good as it looks! Thanks for letting us work on your baby Rick!

Thank God we are all still healthy and working at West Michigan Transmissions. In effort to reduce the spread of Covid 19 to the community and our staff, we have installed a plexiglass shield at our service writer area. We ask our clients to be mindful of social distancing by maintaining at least 6 feet of distance between each other while in our waiting area. Thank you for your efforts in keeping us all safe and healthy. We will be back to normal much sooner if we all work together to get through this time of uncertainty.

In response to Governor Whitmer's Executive Order, West Michigan Transmissions Inc. will remain open during our normal business hours for your automotive repair and servicing needs.

Our staff considers it a privilege to be able to offer our services to the public during this time of uncertainty. We can assure you that we are taking every precaution necessary to prevent the spread of any virus by disinfecting our facility and the vehicles we are working on multiple times a day.

Our staff is practicing social distancing as much as humanly possible. They have been instructed to stay home if they or anyone they have come in contact with are experiencing any flu like symptoms. Our technicians are also required to put on a new pair of nitrile protective gloves and are using sanitizing wipes on the contact surfaces of each vehicle they come in contact with, including but not limited to door handles, steering wheels, shift levers and other controls.

We are taking this issue very seriously and feel blessed that our staff and their families all remain healthy to date. Our thoughts and prayers are with those less fortunate than us and our hope is this pandemic will pass quickly with minimal effect to our loved ones and you, our customers.

In conclusion, if you are experiencing a problem with your vehicle that needs attention, we will be honored to service it for you and are taking every precaution to keep you safe. Give us a call anytime between 8 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday. If you don't have any automotive service needs, stay home and stay safe and we all will be back to a normal life sooner than later!
