Return customers are always special — because they already know the difference. 🤝

This 2025 Ranger Raptor came in looking pretty solid for a year of ownership, but we both knew it had more in it. Before a pad ever touches the paint, we run through a full decontamination process — strip wash, iron removal, and clay bar — to make sure the surface is completely clean. Skipping any of that is where corners get cut, and that's not how we operate.

The paint itself was in decent shape but it had collected the usual story — dealer marks, factory imperfections, etched water spots, and some environmental fallout that was keeping the paint from really popping. Paint correction took care of all of it.

Once correction was done, a final strip wash pulled any remaining polishing oils and dust before we moved to coating. He also wanted the OEM Raptor bed vinyl removed — and honestly, the cleaner look without it was the right call.

For protection he went with one of my personal favorite Gtechniq combinations:
🔵 Paint — Crystal Serum Light + EXO v5
⚙️ Wheels — 2 coats of Gtechniq C5
🔭 All glass — GlassParency

Crystal Serum Light paired with EXO v5 is a phenomenal combo. Incredible gloss, super slick surface, and 6+ years of protection. Keeping this truck clean going forward is going to be effortless.
This one left cleaner than the day it rolled off the factory floor. 🙌

Its a Raptor but not the usual suspect.

We've all seen the F150 Raptor, the BRaptor (Bronco Raptor) and even the Raptor R. But how many have you have seen the Raptor Ranger running around?

Ford didn't just throw some stickers and bigger tires on this thing and call it a day. The Ranger Raptor packs a twin-turbo 3.0L EcoBoost V6 making 405 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, paired with Fox Live Valve shocks, locking front and rear differentials, and a Baja mode designed for high-speed off-road fun.

In other words, it's a mini Raptor with some serious capability.

This one stopped by Hill Detail Works to get the WORKS, and I have to admit, the Ranger Raptor has really grown on me. It's big enough to be practical but still feels more manageable than the full-size trucks.

What do you think?

Would you choose:

And have you actually seen a Ranger Raptor on the road yet?

People ask me all the time what my favorite part of detailing is after 20 years.

Without a doubt... paint correction.

There's something incredibly satisfying about watching years of swirls, scratches, and wash damage disappear right in front of you.

Every vehicle tells a story. Some have been through automatic car washes. Some have seen years of daily driving. Some are brand new and just need a little refinement. This car in particular had heavy water spots and some oxidation. Even though it was a pretty low mile example.

But that moment when you wipe away the polish and see the clarity come back?

That's still my favorite part.

It's probably why after 20 years, I still get excited to walk into the garage and start working.

What's the most satisfying thing you've ever watched get restored or transformed?

Would you drive with the coated side or the uncoated side?

Most people think windshield coatings are about water beading.

They're not.

They're about visibility.

The left side of this windshield is coated with GlassParency.
The right side is untreated.

✔ Better visibility during heavy rain
✔ Less water hanging on the glass
✔ Reduced glare from headlights and streetlights
✔ Easier cleanup of bugs, dirt, and water spots

This is one of those upgrades you don't fully appreciate until you're driving through a Texas thunderstorm and can actually see the road in front of you.

This is something that can be done mobile so I can come to you and handle this! Do the whole a single car or the whole families fleet!

Summer in Texas is here ☀️

That means:
🔥 Intense UV exposure
💦 Hard water spots
🟡 Pollen buildup
🧼 More washing

This is the time of year where ceramic coating really starts proving its value.

The easier maintenance alone becomes a game changer during those 100° summer days.

I’ve got limited availability left heading into June for paint correction and ceramic coating services.

If you’ve been thinking about protecting your vehicle before summer fully kicks in, now is the time to get on the schedule.

Call, text, or DM anytime for an evaluation.

One thing that’s becoming more common in the detailing industry:

People are finally understanding the difference between a quick “shine” and true paint correction.

A lot of vehicles can look glossy in photos for a few hours.

But proper correction is about:
✔ Removing swirls properly
✔ Refining the finish
✔ Inspecting paint under proper lighting
✔ Creating long-term clarity before protection is applied

That’s why I take my time with every vehicle that comes through the shop.

No rushed production-line work.
No shortcuts.
Just careful work focused on making the vehicle look its absolute best.

That attention to detail matters — especially on darker colors and high-end vehicles where every imperfection shows.

Call, text, or DM if you’d like to see what’s possible for your vehicle.

New blog post is live on the website! 👀

One of the most common questions I get is:

“What does ceramic coating actually cost… and is it really worth it?”

So I decided to break it all down for DFW car owners — from what affects pricing, to what you’re actually paying for, and why not all coatings or installers are the same.

If you’ve ever considered protecting your vehicle, this is a great place to start before making a decision.

Whether it’s a daily driver, weekend toy, or full-on dream car, the goal is always the same:
✅ Easier maintenance
✅ Long-term protection
✅ A finish that stays looking incredible
