The timing belt failure results in catastrophic engine failure. It should be replaced every 100k miles on average.

The assumption is that your Car's CABIN FILTER is clean, and if it is not your breathing in DIRT, MOLD, SMOKE, other car's EXHAUST FUMES, etc. Just to be clear though, you were already doing that before this "air quality event", if your cabin filter has not been changed.

On most cars the cabin filter is recommended to be replaced every 15 to 30,000, depending on if you live on gravel roads, park under a tree, etc.

Most cabin filters are located behind the glove box, and those with minimal skills can change them usually in 20 to 30 mins. If your a mechanic, such as us at Country Road Tire and Auto Service , it typically takes about 5 minutes. If you do things often, you get really good at it.

Our price at is $29.99 to $39.99 for most cabin filters, installed, which includes parts and labor. You will definitely notice increased air flow from your vents, as well as cooler, more regulated air conditioning.

Sorry for the long winded post, I usually do not do such a post, but there was no quick way to explain all of this.
