One truck is replaced quickly. Another needs a different setup. A third is built around whatever equipment is available.

Each decision makes sense on its own. Together, they can create inconsistent layouts, parts, and maintenance needs.

A standard specification can help the next truck support the fleet as a whole.

We shared this barn find last year, but it was simply too good not to revisit during our 80th anniversary.

This 1973 STAHL Model 300 service body with a vintage aerial ladder setup has been around for 53 of STAHL’s 80 years. The years of exposure are easy to see, but so are the original STAHL markings, hardware, identification plate, and unmistakable work truck character.

Thank you to ALE Truck Beds for sharing these fantastic photos and helping us uncover another piece of STAHL Truck Bodies history.

It means creating consistency where consistency is useful, including body configurations, storage layouts, equipment packages, components, and supplier expectations.

That can make trucks easier to maintain, crews easier to train, and future purchases easier to plan.
