This is a Full/Part-Time Job (30+ hours per week): Flexible schedules are available. Salary will be based on experience

Job Summary:
A Tire & Oil Change Technician is responsible for installing new tires, tire repairs, oil changes and other light duty service. This is a great starting point as you’re getting into the automotive field. If you have mechanical know-how, a willingness to learn/ask for help when you need it, and a positive attitude, you’re the right candidate to help us provide great customer service. Our service center has plenty of work and a variety of different repair orders, so you have many opportunities for advancement.

Automotive Technician/Mechanic position in Woonsocket, RI.

As a self-starter and curious individual, you’re committed to not releasing the vehicle back to the customer until its problem(s) cease to exist. You love fixing vehicles because you believe each one has a unique personality and presents a new opportunity to make a difference for the person who owns it. For the right candidate, pay starts at $20/hour.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications for the HKK Auto Service Technician:
—Diagnose and make repairs to specifications
—Brakes, suspension and alignment, exhaust, tune ups, electrical, oil changes, air conditioning, computer systems, tire repair/installation
—Ability and willingness to work on all years, makes and models
—Availability for at least 40 hours of work a week (normal business hours are Monday through Saturday, 9am-6pm) with two 30 minute breaks
—You have a proven work history of at least four years, with verifiable experience and references from previous employers
—Must have your own tools, scanners and transportation
—Enjoys explaining technical concepts/mechanical information to others who lack that knowledge
—Strong reading, writing and math skills
—Has a valid driver’s license to test drive customer and company vehicles
—Ability to communicate with customers and suppliers when appropriate/necessary toward company goals and objectives
—Eager to stay on top of industry trends and changes so you’re well prepared for any new technologies that emerge
—Team player who assists his fellow technicians/mechanics no matter what comes up
—There will be a trial period of at least two weeks before any final job offers are made
—Moral character and regular attendance/commitment are a must
—Able to pass a background check
—RI State Inspector License is a bonus
