We’re incredibly honored to share that you have made Fastback Moto a Finalist for the 2026 Best of SLC awards!

This means a lot to our hardworking team that’s been building something from the ground up.

When we started, it wasn’t about awards, it was about building a place where fellow riders felt taken care of, treated fairly, and welcomed like friends. To now be recognized like this means more than you know.

What’s the absolute worst piece of motorcycle advice you’ve ever followed (or almost followed)? Spill it below—we’re all ears (and probably cringing already). 👇

If you’ve spent any time hanging out at a bike night, scrolling forums, deep-diving YouTube, or lurking in Facebook groups, you’ve already seen it: every rider’s an expert. 🤦‍♀️

Swapping tales and tips is part of what makes motorcycle culture great. And hey, we love a good shop story as much as anyone.

But here’s the problem: not all advice is good advice. And most people giving it don’t even realize when they’re leading you astray.

• Some of it is valid. Like “Always check your tire pressure before you ride.” ✅️

• Some of it is harmless but may be outdated or not applicable to your bike or ride style. ⚠️

• And some of it could cost you money, damage your bike, or leave you stranded miles from home.🛑

At Fastback Moto, we’ve seen it all. The good, the bad, and the flat-out ugly.

We’ve seen impressive roadside fixes that saved a ride… and half-baked “hacks” that turned a minor issue into a major rebuild.
