We are looking for a starting point Automotive Technician with a passion for the automotive industry that is willing to learn and grow with the job.

The Automotive industry is a fast paced progressive industry and our desire is to see growth with our employees and have them eventually comfortably move to other repair tasks such as brakes or wheel bearings and beyond, pay will increase in time with added skillsets.

Our small shop is instant immersion (because we are very busy) into the Automotive industry so a passion for the field and a desire to constantly improve is a must.

We will show direction and help out when needed but we are not a training facility, applicant must have a mechanical understanding of the basics of Automotive applications.

The shop will provide all tools so no tools needed

Automotive L**e Technician Qualifications:

~1 to 2 years of relavent automotive experience preferred

~Strong work ethic and attendance

~Ability to work efficiently in a busy work environment
~Attention to detail

~Valid driver's license with a clean record is mandatory

~Willingness to learn and grow with the job and build skillset.

Automotive L**e Technician Responsibilities: Ability to perform basic maintenance duties, such as changing the engine oil and filter, topping fluids, testing the battery, performing multi-point inspections on vehicles coming in for routine services in a timely manner. Tire rotations. As well as other duties around the shop.

Also must be comfortable answering phone calls for scheduling and communicating politely with customers. Jeff's is a small shop and everyone will be expected to politely interact with customers. Our customers are pretty darn excellent so that part of the job is not as daunting as it may sound!

~Pay based on experience and skills.

~Paid holidays-no mandatory overtime.

~90 Day, 6 month and 1 year performance reviews with the opportunity for pay raises at each.

~Paid Vacation opportunities discussed and offered at your one-year review.

~Jeff's Repair will pay or compensate for ASE certifications (must have at least 2 years experience in the field for ASE testing) if taken during employment. Also, we offer online classes and some nightly workshops are available throughout the year for career improvement if so desired. This is not to be confused as tuition reimbursement for Automotive schooling as we will not reimburse or pay for that.

Job Type: Full-time Monday through Friday

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Jeff's Repair in Woodruff is looking to hire an Automotive Repair Technician. Jeff's Repair is a very busy and fast paced 3 stall repair facility that does everything from oil changes to engine repair. We work on Domestic, Asian and European vehicles.
~The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of on the job experience.
~ASE Certification not required but preferred.
~Automotive A/C certification would be a bonus.
~Be able to provide references that can verify reliable and punctual attendance.
~A US driver's license with a clean driving record is a must with reliable transportation to work.
Applicant has to be able to efficiently, accurately and independently diagnose problems with domestic, Asian and European vehicles. Not limited to just the mechanical issues, must also be proficient in the (sometimes) complicated electrical and computer/sensor related issues with late model vehicles.
~Pay based on experience and skills.

Looks like winter is here early. Oh, that's right this is Wisconsin, it's probably a little late then... lol!!

Anyway, scheduled appointments are running out about 3+ weeks. Having said that, if anyone wants the battery and (or) coolant checked for the winter just stop by and I can check that for you. It usually doesn't take long and no appointment is necessary. That way if there is a issue it can get addressed before winter really gets here.

Mechanic Needed

Jeff's Auto Repair is looking for an Auto and Light Truck Mechanic. Experience is preferred. Must be friendly, polite and have good work ethic. Jeff's has been in business for over 40 years and pride ourselves in customer service, quality of our work, and honesty. Must be willing to answer phone calls, politely deal with the walk-in customers, create estimates and invoices (Using Mitchell invoicing software), and scheduling. As well as repair vehicles.

The Shop is open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.

No need to bring your own tools as the shop has its own that are used between the Mechanics!

Repairs range from the simple oil changes, to the sometimes complex diagnostics of computer and electrical systems on domestic and Asian vehicles. Plus almost everything in between except A/C repair and alignments.

ASE Certification is preferred, but not necessary with experience. Must have good problem solving skills and be comfortable with wiring diagrams and diagnostic troubleshooting.

We are in the thick of summer, seems like the snow just melted (lol, but true)!! Happy 4th of July week(s) everyone!! Enjoy the Holiday and be safe!

Remember, we have the St. Germain festivities this coming weekend!

We are about a week and a half out for appointments so keep that in mind if you need service. We are at the shop from 7 am till around 5(ish) so don't hesitate to call if you are up on vacation and need service. We do what we can.

They are starting side "B" won't affect us as much as the other side (obviously) but still a challenge on busy traffic days. Make sure you give those guys a break and drive safe.
