Home Town Garage is seeking an automotive service technician. As a technician at Home Town you, will be responsible for performing basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues. Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle systems includes engine, transmission, brakes, electrical systems, fluid services, steering, suspension, brakes, cooling system, etc.

Candidate needs to be reliable with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, someone who will thrive in a fast paced environment, stressful situations and diversity.

Must have own tools, valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles.

Effective communication, team working skills, and committed to quality workmanship.

ASE Certification preferred but not required.

Desire to build long term trust and relationships with our company and customers.

Pay is Flat Rate and depends on experience, minimum of $21.00 hour with pay raise after 60 days.

Monday - Friday 8 am -6 pm.

Saturdays and Sundays Off.

Closed Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

Closed 2 weeks for Christmas and News Years

- looking for long term employment
-able to provide scheduled maintenance needs/ inspections on all makes and models
- Have valid DL, and transportation
-Have your own tools and basic knowledge of shop equipment such as HVAC and tire machine, diagnostic scan tools
-ability to work independently.
