Most of our regular customers don't have this issue! They are following our recommend 5K service with full synthetic oil!

The change in timing is sensed by the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors, which can cause codes that indicate the correlation or synchronization problem with the engine position sensors.

I was looking for a shop that could remove my old Porsche 996 engine and install a rebuilt one I purchased. Everything that is not part of the long block on my old engine would need to be removed and fitted to my new engine. I know enough about my engine to realize this would be a pretty involved job and there would be many things that could be done improperly. Everything went perfect. It was at least 50 hours of arduous work involving seized studs and advanced level assembly. I have since put 2000 miles on the new engine. Everything is running great. Haley was very professional whenever I called. Scott was very thorough and kept me informed with project. He was very helpful in working with the engine builder and ensuring everything worked out logistically. Shawn is a very skilled tech and did more than just bolt things up. He had to customize some fitment issues by welding and bending some exhaust parts. He also identified parts that were in need a replacement and would be very expensive to address after the engine was in place. The owner of the shop contacted me a few days after the repair to make sure everything was good to go. I highly recommend JP Motors for minor maintenance to major repairs.

Verifying oil consumption on 1995 Saab 9000 Aero, using a borescope. Oil was getting by the valve seals, due improper installation.

Another 2008 BMW 328i. Had a cheap oil change done. Filter and seals were never replaced. This was the cause of a leak the damaged the engine belt. The belt was drawn into the engine and allowed the timing to jump and caused engine damage. Luckily we were able to retrieve all the broken filter pieces. The shop that did the oil change is under new management and is doing nothing for this new customer to JP Motors.

2005 Mercedes C240 with some front end noise. Was very unsafe! After an inspection. Lower control arm ball joint poped out of socket on inspection. Dont ignore these noises and have them inspected.

2013 BMW 528xi just driving by, just wanted oil topped up! When the filter is this bad, you are way overdue for service. We were able to remove most of the filter material. This is the type of thing that causes premature engine failure.
