Happy Independence Day to the United States!!! 250 years of the great effort to give opportunity to all.
So long yet so short. It’s wild to think that the Buell of which I was part lasted more than 10% of that 😮

And wouldn’t it have been cool if Griffin had come to be in 2008? We’d have had 18 years of American MX/enduro/flat track/streetfighter…
One of the Buell designers (Todd Troutman) did have a picture of the production design we were working towards. One of the other designers, Nick Zeidler, did that rendering. Refinement of the early mockup that is preserved at Barber museum.

Believe in the founders. Believe in the makers. Down with the breakers and takers.

I was signed up for the very first Buell dealer training class on the bike and I was stoked! I was very disappointed to find out that they were cancelling the class and pulling the plug on the project. Knowing the stuff Erik Buell came up with, this would have been a very cool and cutting edge bike.

National COIR is monitoring federal legislation involving the potential expansion of year round E15 gasoline sales nationwide.

The U.S. House of Representatives has passed legislation that would permit year round sales of E15 fuel. The measure has NOT yet passed the U.S. Senate and has not become law.

Motorcyclists should be aware that many motorcycles, ATVs, older vehicles, small engines, and other powersports equipment are not designed or approved for E15 fuel. Riders should always consult their owner’s manual and manufacturer recommendations before using higher ethanol fuel blends.

National COIR believes it is important that fuel pumps dispensing E15 remain clearly and prominently labeled so consumers can make informed decisions before fueling their motorcycles and other equipment.

As this issue develops, we encourage riders to stay informed, pay close attention at the pump, and verify the correct fuel before refueling.

I just got off the phone with the regional representative for Dunlop Tires. He told me that there is currently NO recalls on Dunlop tires for Harley Davidson motorcycles at this time and the information being spread around saying so is FALSE.
