In 2024 we made the decision to move our business to Wood River IL - to our hometown. Main Street Automotive began its journey in 2017 in Belleville, Illinois, with a simple goal - to provide honest, dependable auto repair that people could trust. In 2024, after several successful years, we made the decision to move our business back home to Wood River, Illinois - the community where we grew up,

where we're raising our children, and where our family and friends are rooted. Being able to grow our business right here in our hometown means the world to us. It's more than just fixing cars - it's about helping our neighbors, supporting our community, and being part of the place that's given us so much. With nearly 30 years of experience as a technician, Danny brings a lifetime of knowledge, ensuring our neighbors receive the reliable, hometown service they deserve. His love for what he does shows in every job that comes through our doors. We're proud to call Wood River home and even prouder to serve the people who make it such a special place.

Sometimes it’s the little things that remind us just how blessed we are! ❤️

This weekend we caught something on our cameras that we never expected…

A customer stopped by on Sunday - not because they needed their vehicle repaired - but because they noticed our front lot needed a little attention. They spent their own time pulling weeds and spraying them, just to help us out.

We’ve been so incredibly busy, taking care of our customers that keeping up with the landscaping has been pushed to the back burner. This act of kindness truly meant more than words can express.

To the amazing customer who took the time to do this THANK YOU!! your thoughtfulness and generosity has not gone unnoticed and we’re beyond grateful to have customers like you.

Today we're celebrating one of the newest members of the Main Street Automotive family—Jeff!

From the day he joined our team, Jeff has brought a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever he's needed. He's quickly become a valuable asset to our shop, and we're grateful to have him on the team.
