To all my Military brothers and sisters:
I discovered something last night as I went through the Wood River
McDonald's drive through.
I was wearing a military emblemed ball cap as my wife and I ordered our drinks. When we got ready to pay, I asked for a Military discount, and they informed me they do not offer such a discount.
How un American. A restaurant that has established itself as a household name. There are men and women out there serving their country who would give anything for a quarter pounder or a chocolate shake. However McDonalds does not support them with a discount.
I personally will reconsider when I am hungry or thirsty and cross the street to Burger King.
