Welcome to Week 17 of the Donahue Super Sports 60th Anniversary Trivia Contest!

Thank you to everyone who participated last week!
Week 16’s randomly selected winner is - Matt Habada! Congratulations!

The answer to last week's question was: Sachs

Originally, Wisconsin law stated that mopeds must have pedals on them, and Sachs was a very popular and well-known brand at the time, so Yamaha City began selling them as their first mopeds. Yamaha City soon became the biggest Sachs dealer in Wisconsin, resulting in a free trip for Bob and Alice to the Sachs factory in Germany! Once Wisconsin's moped law changed, the Yamaha moped was brought into the dealership, and was sold for many years after.

Now it's time for Week 17!

Welcome to Week 16 of the Donahue Super Sports 60th Anniversary Trivia Contest!

Thank you to everyone who participated last week!

Week 15’s randomly selected winner is - Dave Bohn! Congratulations!

The answer to last week's question was: 8th Street

Bob and Alice Donahue originally started Yamaha City on 8th Street in Wisconsin Rapids, back before 8th Street was even a four-lane road! As the business grew, Bob and Alice quickly realized they were running out of space. They wanted to relocate to a more open area so their customers would have more room to test ride vehicles, and so they could expand their dealership. They moved the business to Highway 54 East, and Donahue Super Sports remains on that same property today!

Now it's time for Week 16!

Welcome to Week 15 of the Donahue Super Sports 60th Anniversary Trivia Contest!

Thank you to everyone who participated last week!
Week 14’s randomly selected winner is - Julie Anne! Congratulations!

The answer to last week's question was: 1974 YZ

Yamaha's 1974 YZ lineup was revolutionary, as this was the first time a manufacturer produced a factory works-inspired race motorcycle for the public. Due to the success of this, rival manufacturers were forced to follow suit, and thus began the never ending development and demand for performance in racing motorcycles!
