Check out this awesome Subaru svx swapped vanagon! This was brought to us due to a failed Subaru transmission but ended up leaving with a much stronger and more unique replacement.

The new transmission started its life in a late 1980’s Porsche 911, so it wasn’t an easy project installing this beast of a transmission into a vanagon! It required the fire wall to be notched and moved back, a new custom built shifter rod, and a one of a kind adapter plate and clutch to be made from Kennedy.

We were able to use the factory Porsche trans mount and an aftermarket billet aluminum shifter base.

This van is now able to handle all of the power the Subaru svx has to offer while keeping the van driving comfortably and reliably for many years to come!

Another Friday, another beautiful bus!

This one came to us needing a complete vehicle harness rework, as well as a Subaru swap that was in need of LOTS of love. We worked our magic to bring it up to our standards and now we can say we're proud to show off what we've created!
