Most people replace front struts and NEVER think about the alignment problems caused by worn suspension parts.

In this video, I break down the differences between older GM torsion bar suspension and newer GM front strut setups, why I avoid coil-over conversions on heavy GM trucks, and how to properly replace front struts without damaging components.

I also explain why your truck will NOT drive correctly if you skip the alignment afterward — especially if the old alignment was done with worn-out parts.

I show:
✔ Full strut removal
✔ Tie rod end removal
✔ Every mounting bolt location
✔ Why both struts should be replaced together
✔ Why tire wear and pulling issues happen after suspension repairs

DON’T just yank on your Silverado wheel liners. In today’s Big Red project video, I show every bolt, push clip, and hidden wiring harness attached to the front wheel liners on our 2013 Chevrolet Silverado. I also explain how to safely remove the liners without cracking them or damaging the wiring.

One wrong pull can break mounting tabs, clips, or electrical connectors fast. If you’re removing headlights, bumpers, suspension parts, or installing LEDs, this is information you need before starting.
