Clients vs Customers Part 3
Final video in this little series. These builds require a lot of patience on both sides of things. Unfortuantely, we hit a huge snag on these headers and we ultimately had a 12 week delay. Pushing this build back for quite some time. Basically, everyone is pi**ed but education and transparency really count when things like this happen. This is why we have clients, not customers.

WE ARE HIRING!!
We have some spots open for our body and paint department. Experience and attention to detail in this area would be very helpful but we can help with some training in this department. Shoot us a message and apply now!

Probably the final update on the Blue C10
This build was super fun to work on and the customer is going to be really happy when it's all done! We may or may not have the other one for sale 😏

Clients vs. Customer Part 2
So we talked about the difference between having clients vs. customers in the last video. Well here's a good start to clarifying what that means. When things get delayed, when things dont fit, timelines get pushed back a lot. This K5 blazer is an amazing build but it came with its own set of problems that were out of our control. Stay tuned for the next video to see how it all played out.

Another update on the 1956 GMC!
Tons of progress on this build! The box and body are back on the frame and now its time to get things to line up properly. We have a big push to get this thing into paint and get this build closer to the finish line. See you in the next update!

We're gonna walk you through some of what those problems look like. Stay tuned for the next video where we talk about a specific build thats had some exceptional issues.

The work that makes a great restoration starts underneath the paint. 🔧

We’re checking in on the 1963 Impala, walking through the sheet metal we’ve replaced and the rust repairs still underway. Getting the metal right now gives the rest of this build a solid foundation.

We also have Bryant from Bryant Built in the shop! Always good to have him stop by and talk cars.

Follow Mapes Restorations as we bring this Impala back, one section at a time.
