Cadillac Escalade is getting a full front. With the assist of .ppf this bumper and hood are looking absolutely fantastic. Bulked for that perfect way to make the film tuck further back and give it that invisible look. Next up is the fenders and other small bits to finish it off.

To go with the PPF we will be polishing the rest of the Cadicllac and coating over top to ensure ease of maintenance and care.

Some behind the scenes stuff that most would never post and never show. It sucks to make a mistake, it cost money/ profit but I wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing that something isn’t right. I should have taken a break, I shouldn’t have been at the shop so late but sometimes we feel like the workflow is nice and it’ll be “ok” until it isn’t. I often find that a million things run through my head on how to fix and in previous mistakes, I’ve found that if you suck it up and just do it again it takes all that away. You can hear the disappointment but that’s part of it. We are real and things happen. We appreciate all the clients that also adjust their timelines for human errors.

Getting up close and personal with the next few cars coming into the shop. We have a few front ends along with this Model Y performance for a full body. .usa on deck to make this thing protected from top to bottom. 🤝🏼 then we top that with services for the perfect beads and ease of maintenance. It’s great to have protection but it’s better to have it easy to maintain.

Getting fancy with it, if you’re newer to PPF, try some hot or warm tac to get the corners to lay down easy. But the real work behind the scene is making sure the edge is prepped properly. A little bit of compound on your edges, follow that by alcohol. It’ll make your life easier.

Weekend ready! Thank you Virgil for trusting in CCD for your detailing needs.

Virgil came in with a reverse dent on his rear bumper. We removed the PPF. Had a blend done on the finish. Let it cure, brought the car back and bulk installed the rear bumper to near perfect with the help of Steven .ppf.

Our friends did the front windshield with Xpel XR70 for that heat rejection.

Wanted to take a moment to say Thank you to . For the past two years you’ve helped me grow, through the highs and the lows. Easy cars and tough cars. If you’ve stopped by CCD in this time frame Isaac has helped transform and protect your vehicle. Great attitude and always willing to help and work will surely be missed. I hope God continues to bless you as you move forward with your new career in the AirForce. Abuelo is definitely smiling down from heaven as you shift into this new phase of your life. Taking this apart and I thought to myself..most comments if I post this would be “that’s unnecessary” but aren’t we here to detail? Maybe that’s why I don’t post a lot, I just don’t care to hear it. I would rather my client get a picture direct than be poked at by others. Does this happen for every job? No, but just like others have different levels of detailing or are on a different level, we should applaud each other and help each other get to the next level. We all need help this client has certainly taught me that. It’s been a week of reflection and changes. Hope you guys will take sometime to do the same and help someone out today.

The wife’s suburban got hit by a sprinkler on the way into the hood and when we parked it you could see the protection doing its thing. So i took the opportunity to not only wash the truck, but to share a little insight of why protection is so important. If you’ve stopped by my shop and had a conversation with me I guarantee you have heard me say this: “it’s good to have a clean car it’s better to have a protected car” remember that cleaning is temporary, protection is long term.
