Filling the transmission on 82 Spider project..
Back in the 80s when I built so many 124 Fiats the preferred fluid to run in these transmissions eventually became 70W engine oil for motorcycles... There was no non EP 80w-90 available then.... the synchronizers always work very well.... no unusual wear on bearings when using the motorcycle oil.
That is why I continue to use it even though there are modern day alternatives...and most of them cost a lot more money as well
