Premium fuel is not automatically better for every vehicle. The best choice is the fuel grade recommended by the manufacturer, which can usually be found in the owner’s manual or near the fuel door.

Using a higher octane than your vehicle requires generally will not add power, improve fuel economy, or make the engine run better. Some vehicles do require premium fuel, so always follow the recommendation made for your specific make and model.
