🚗 Meet the Team 🚗

If you've been to Carolina Auto, chances are you've met Nick! As our Operations Manager, he helps keep everything running smoothly—but here's a little known fact. He's also a Master Technician with nearly 19 years of experience and has a knack for diagnostics. If a vehicle has a mystery problem, Nick loves the challenge of figuring it out. 🔎

A few fun facts about him:
🔧 Favorite vehicles to work on: Dodge and Chevy V8s
🏁 Dream ride: Porsche 911 GT3 RS or a Hellcat Durango
🪸 Outside of work you'll usually find him working on his saltwater aquarium or spending time with his 4 boys and amazing wife.
🌮 Favorite local spot: Lucha Libre Ice Cream & Churros.

💡 Nick's maintenance tip:
Don't skip your cabin air filter! A neglected cabin filter can trap moisture and allow mold to grow in the HVAC airbox, affecting your air quality and potentially contributing to allergy-like symptoms while you're driving. It's a small maintenance item that can make a big difference.

Have you met Nick yet? Stop by and say hello the next time you're in the shop!

🚗 Prius owners... Don't panic just because the check engine light came on!

One of the projects in our shop right now is a Prius with a blown head gasket. While these cars are known for their reliability, high mileage Priuses can develop some expensive issues and many people think the dealership is their only option.

The good news? It isn't.

Whether it's a head gasket, hybrid maintenance, engine repairs, or general service, our technicians have the experience to get you back on the road without the dealership hassle.

If your Prius isn't running like it should, give us a call before you assume the worst. We'd be happy to take a look and help you figure out the best path forward.

🌡️ DID YOU KNOW?

If your A/C isn't blowing as cold as it should, the problem might be something as simple as a clogged cabin air filter.

A dirty cabin air filter can:
❄️ Restrict airflow through your vents
❄️ Make your A/C seem weaker than it really is
❄️ Cause unpleasant odors inside your vehicle
❄️ Put extra strain on your HVAC system

With these hot temperatures, your A/C is working overtime. Replacing a clogged cabin air filter is a quick, affordable service that can make a noticeable difference in your comfort.

If your air conditioning isn't keeping up with the heat, stop in on Monday! We'll inspect your cabin air filter and make sure your A/C is performing the way it should.

Stay cool out there and have a safe 4th of July with the family ! 😎🚗
