The ultimate Raptor came home — and it came home with a podium finish.

Mitch Guthrie Jr. and co-driver Kellon Walch finished second overall at the 2026 Casey Folks Vegas to Reno, marking the Ford Raptor T1+’s first race on American soil and its first competition outside international rally raid.

Running in full FIA Dakar specification, the Raptor T1+ tackled more than 500 miles of Nevada desert with zero mechanical issues, completing approximately 800 kilometers of competition in 7 hours and 43 minutes.

For Ford Racing, it was more than a race. It was a chance to bring one of the world’s most capable rally-raid trucks back to American soil, put it to the test and gather valuable miles ahead of Dakar.
