Today, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office proudly recognizes Deputy Steven Pickens on graduating from the MDCC Law Enforcement Training Academy.

This milestone represents months of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice, and we couldn’t be more proud to welcome him as a certified law enforcement officer. Deputy Pickens has demonstrated the commitment and character that embody our mission, and we are grateful to serve alongside him.

We look forward to the positive impact we know Deputy Pickens will have on the community he serves. His dedication to protecting and serving others is an inspiration, and we are excited to see all that he will accomplish in this new chapter.

UPDATE: We have reassessed the situation and will be reopening the shop and office this afternoon.

We currently have power restored and are able to continue operations. However, our phone and internet services remain down at this time. If you need immediate assistance, please stop by the shop in person, as we are unable to receive calls, emails, or online messages promptly.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as utility crews continue working in the area.

Due to an emergency situation in our area that has affected power, internet, and phone service, KBA will be closed during the lunch hour today.

We will reassess conditions upon our return and provide an update regarding afternoon operations as soon as possible.
