Arcane Auto Cult is a lifestyle and car club based out of Martinsburg Pennsylvania exclusive to those with unconventional rides or personal styles. Interested in joining the Arcane Bloodline? Possible members will be chosen through submissions and member invites. You will be interviewed, sponsored and assessed before becoming a pledged member. We aren't after quantity, we want those who are truly in line with the mindset of AAC. Those who are of interest will have one or more of the following qualities.

~A rare model, unconventional custom, or morbid vehicle. (Hearse, vehicles uncommon at car shows, weird engine swaps, rat rods, wicked choppers/bobbers, etc)

~An unconventional or morbid personality or profession (goth/alt, dark humor, general weirdo, funeral director, occultist, artists, metal heads, social/religious outcasts, etc)

~An unconventional or otherwise useful talent (fire dancer, metal artist, tarot, musician, pyro, etc etc)

Basically, we are looking to build a family of proud outcasts who enjoy weird s**t and enjoy rolling through cookie cutter car shows/parades/etc and freaking people out. It is with great sadness that we report the passing of one of our earliest and longest stnding members of AAC, Mr Terry Thompson . Terry was a great, supportive friend over the years. We spent countless hours talking about custom vehicle ideas, racing, and general life. Terry and I both had our rounds with health issues around the same time and Terry continued a valiant, yet difficult battle with his health issues up until the end. We had quite a few discussions of what it would mean if our health issues ever caught up to us. Terry knew what he was up against, fought a tireless battle that many knew nothing of, and still always had kindness in his heart. That is beyond respectable. It is, in fact, inspiring. The Valhalla of motorcycles and hot rods had a space set aside for our boy today and Terry pulled in. As an animal lover, I have no doubt he made a stop by the rainbow bridge to pick up a few beloved passengers along the way. For those of us still on this plane of existence, I would ask that you keep Terry, his family, friends, and loved ones close to your heart today. Moving forward, in his honor, I will find a way to incorporate a piece of Terry's memory and essence into my AAC rides so Terry can continue to cruise with us. Until the next, my friend.. Rest easy.

A little more progress on Pumpkin earlier today. Rear bumper is almost finished and work has started on getting the fuel tank to sit right. I liked the shorter length and wider width of the Allis Chalmers tank over the Farmall tank I originally planned on using. The AC tank is unfortunately much taller though and sat above the body. I took a level cut off the bottom of the tank bowl that when flipped and welded back in will become concave instead of convex, allowing tge tank to sit about 3.5" lower without changing the esthetic.

Its the little details that make the build special and look 'right', folks. Dont be afraid to cut s**t up, make mistakes, ruin things, and start stuff over. Learn from it all and get better ideas along the way. Dont waste too much time overthinking, just do! Have fun with the process and dont take it too seriously. Its all interpretation anyway. No matter how much effort you put into your work some people will love it and some will hate it. Make something that YOU love!! Go build something.

Stay tuned, we will be jumping back over to Lilith to give her some love again very soon!

It's been quite some time since I've done any official updates on 'Pumpkin'. Thats mostly because I hadnt worked on him in quite some time. I decided to take a short break from Lilith and see to a little progress on this small fella.

We have some suspension painted and roll bar/bumper progress. Unfortunately, the accent color (as pictured on the suspension parts) is difficult to photograph in a way that represents how it looks in person, so I included some color examples. The main body color will be '77 IH Scout Persimmon orange, the accent color on suspension links, engine, interior, and wheels is Case IH Desert Sunset from the late 60s, and the frame and other hard parts will be good old black.

We opted for the shorter and wider shape of the Allis Chalmers fuel tank over the Farmall tank although I will still be modifying it to sit lower. Hopefully you like what you see and can get a loose vision of where this pre-war era dirt circle track themed build is headed!

AAC's Kory, Nik, and Maz took a trip to TROG in Wildwood NJ during their vacation to Cape May. Everybody found a few favorite rides there and new interests and ideas were sparked. A trip to Carlisle on the way there didnt yield many purchases so that money was promptly spent on food and recreation along the Atlantic's southern NJ coastline. Enjoy these pics of TROG, Carlisle, and Cape May where pictures will include the haunted trolley tour, Cape May light house, as well as sights along the way. Autumn is here and we are bringing in October the right way. Peace and Love to all of our AAC followers and family.

AAC is rolling towards Halloween! October is our month and Eris' month to be appreciated most by the public. I will be posting some of her adventures throughout the upcoming weeks until Halloween.

Halloween has a 3 fold connection to AAC.

#1 Its our favorite holiday and esthetic.

#2 Its the birthdate and anniversary of the club

#3 Its kind of AAC's new years eve. Its the culmination of our year's activities and the beginning of the next year's plan. As such. You will be seeing a lot of changes to the page and AAC after 10/31 as well as exciting news.

Stay tuned for all of the above, but until then let's enjoy the month of October and celebrate the beautiful foliage and macabre that surrounds us.

Tell us your big October Plans below in the comments!

Its been a while since I've done a Lilith update. Life has been incredibly busy lately but I've had time here and there to put some work in. Its been a lot of detail work that doesn't make a huge impact on the overall impact in this unfinished stage, but all very important none the less. I've been working on her windbw net, door, and door bar area on the driver's side. Processing nicely.
