🎉 Celebrating 29 Years in Business! 🎉

What started as a dream has grown into a trusted name in automotive care for Wilton and our surrounding communities.

Owner Mike Lindquist brought his love of automotive repair to Wilton after graduating from Denver Automotive and Diesel College. In 1996, he purchased Wilton Getty and began serving customers with honesty, skill, and dedication.

Over the years, the business evolved — becoming Wilton Auto and Tire Center in 2007, and moving into a modern, expanded facility in 2017 to better serve our amazing customers from Wilton, Redding, Weston, and Ridgefield.

Thank you to every customer who’s supported us along the way — here’s to 29 years of keeping our community safely on the road, and to many more ahead! 🚗🔧💙

🏁 What a weekend!

Night 1: Battled hard for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd — and our very own Chris Lindquist took home a 3rd place podium finish! 🥉

Night 2: Started strong with a heat race win, but faced some tough breaks and disqualifications. Despite it all, still pulled off a Top 10 finish 💪

That’s a wrap on the 2025 season — we’re already fired up for next year! 🔥

This tire is beyond worn — the metal belts have broken through the tread! Not only is this unsafe, it’s a serious accident waiting to happen. ⚠️

Your tires are the only part of your car that actually touch the road, and when they wear this far down, traction, braking, and handling are all compromised — especially in rain or at highway speeds.

🛞 Tire Safety Tips:
🔹 Check your tread depth regularly (replace at 2/32” or sooner).
🔹 Look for uneven wear — it could mean alignment or suspension issues.
🔹 Don’t ignore vibrations or pulling — they’re warning signs!

Routine inspections and timely replacements can save your tires and your life.

This shredded timing belt tells a costly story — one that could’ve been avoided with preventative maintenance. Timing belts play a critical role in keeping your engine’s camshaft and crankshaft in perfect sync. When they wear, crack, or break, valves and pistons can collide — leading to serious engine damage. 😬

⏰ When to replace: Most timing belts should be replaced every 60,000–100,000 miles, depending on the vehicle.
⚙️ Signs of wear: Cracking, fraying, squealing noises, or oil contamination (like in this photo).

Preventative maintenance isn’t just about saving money — it’s about keeping your engine running smooth and reliable.
