THSCC Members took to VIRginia International Raceway's 0.444 mile Kart Track to conquer another 2 hour enduro this past Saturday! By the numbers:

10 teams of 3 racers
2 solo racers
Laps completed by front runners: 141, total distance of 62.604 miles
1st through 4th were only separated by 44.076 secs by the checkered flag, all on the same lap
Fastest lap of a 47.923 by kart 39 (P5), fastest avg time of 51.086 by kart 72 (P1)

We'll be looking to come back out to VIR this year for a more casual/friendly event, but anticipate next season to have more Enduros on the calendar. If you go to Cars and Coffee Morrisville, Inc this Saturday you may notice less of a THSCC presence at our usual spot. This is because many of us will be at the North Carolina Center for Automotive Research, NCCAR Inc. attending the first of two Beast of the East weekends with NCR SCCA. This is a cross club, multi weekend competition to see who has the fastest members, so come drive fast and help your club win!

Although NCR is hosting, this will also count as THSCC's 2026 Autocross Points events #4 and #5. There is still time to sign up if you haven't already! Even if you're not competing it's a fun place to hang out and see a bunch of cool cars parked in paddock as well as driving on the track.

There will still be THSCC members attending cars and coffee in our usual area, at the usual time on Saturday morning. So if you are attending and want to park together, try to be there by 6:30AM as usual in order to guarantee yourself a spot!

Remember, we are autocrossing THIS WEEKEND at NCCAR! The "Beast of the East" series is back, with THSCC Points Events 4&5 this weekend, June 6-7, at a favorite site!

The sign up is through our event partner, NCR-SCCA's motorsportreg sign up - and we will be importing the results for THSCC members to our season points afterword. (reminder - you need to run 6 of 10 events this season for a trophy

NCR-SCCA will be joining us for Round 2 of Beast of the East at our September NCCAR event.
